Shailee Vakulabharanam is a graduate student who works with young adults, older adolescents and adults. Her clinical areas of interest include working with women who struggle with anxiety, distress, relationship challenges/conflicts, depression, body image concerns and trauma. Shailee uses an eclectic approach in treatment that draws from various interventions. Some of these include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment based therapy, mindfulness-based activities and solution-focused strategies. Shailee also has a distinct interest in working to help alleviate tendencies of control and perfectionism, stress or anxiety and encouraging a high degree of self-compassion.
Shailee has a post graduate diploma in Counseling Psychology from IHMH and is a current graduate student pursuing her Master's of education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
