Deb Druar, LICSW

Deb Druar, LICSW (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses a strength-based perspective working with individual adults facing challenges with life transitions, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, stress, grief/loss and the impact of ADHD. Deb is committed to providing affirmative therapy with all clients, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Deb has extensive training and experience in family systems therapy, with a particular interest in parent support and coaching for single parents, divorced or unmarried parents, and grandparents raising their grandchildren.

Deb’s treatment approach will vary based on individual client needs, however, will often integrate one or more of the following: cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, the use of mindfulness and imagery, acquisition of coping skills, psychodynamic and experiential therapy. Fostering a warm and non-judgmental environment to facilitate a collaborative therapeutic process is a priority.

 

Deb earned her MSW in clinical social work from the Smith College School for Social Work. Prior to joining Kerzner Associates, Deb worked at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital as a Clinician in the Outpatient Adult Partial Hospital Program and as an individual and In-Home Family Therapist with Riverside Community Care.
